I’m Debbie Hall, a trained and authorised independent celebrant for weddings and civil unions.

​

I am a people person and I love love love celebrations in every form. I will work to make your ceremony memorable, full of meaning and uniquely yours.

 

I'm based in Wānaka and travel throughout Central Otago and Southland. I know this is all about you – your values, wishes, memories and your love. I am inclusive of all religions, cultures and sexual orientations. I think of myself as a storyteller, your storyteller.

 

My Mum was an author and I too love the written word. Together we will work to create an unforgettable love-filled ceremony.​​​

A simple and intimate celebration on top of a mountain, or a one-of-a-kind event in front of 100 of your favourite people – no matter what’s on your wish-list, I specialise in crafting bespoke celebrations that are all about you.

 

I believe in the power of love and am dedicated to making your special day magical. I’ll work closely with you to create a heartfelt and memorable experience that resonates with you and your guests.

 

I can guide you through the whole process including helping you write your personal vows if you need guidance.

 

In addition to weddings or civil unions, I can undertake any of life’s ceremonies and rituals – commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, pet funerals, celebration of life eg: living funerals, baby naming, separation/new beginning ceremonies, reunions, birthdays and anniversaries.
